Rock engineers from several mines approached us wanting a yielding support system, which when grouted into the hole could also hold the weight of the mesh on primary insertion into the rock. They also needed the mesh to maintain its position as close to the rock face as possible. Several products were tested, none of them fulfilling all the criteria.

High ability to dissipate kinetic energy

High rates of energy dissipation

Very stiff in static conditions

Debonding coating inhibits corrosion

No special training needed for existing crews

Yields at constant load

Exceptional displacement range

Least vulnerable to shear failure

Easy to install
